Multiple Myeloma

Specialized treatment including novel immunotherapies and stem cell transplant support for multiple myeloma.

Overview

Multiple myeloma is a cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow. Treatment has advanced dramatically in recent years with the introduction of proteasome inhibitors, immunomodulatory drugs, monoclonal antibodies, and bispecific antibodies.

Our team manages the full continuum of myeloma care — from smoldering myeloma surveillance through frontline treatment, transplant coordination, and management of relapsed disease.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is myeloma curable?

While myeloma is not yet considered curable for most patients, modern treatments have significantly extended survival. Many patients achieve deep remissions and live for years with good quality of life.

What is a stem cell transplant?

Autologous stem cell transplant uses your own stem cells collected before high-dose chemotherapy, then returned to rebuild your bone marrow. It remains a key treatment for eligible myeloma patients.
